7 Speaker wiring harness adapter?

ok I'm trying to source my parts for my upgrade. Looking at wiring harness adapters and the metra & scoche adapters both say "not for use with factory amplified systems" or "4 speaker systems only".

Does anyone know the part number for a wiring harness that works with the premium 7 speaker system in an '03 TJ Rubicon??

The 7 speaker system in TJ's is not factory amplified, and the sub is wired in parallel with the 4 channels... the standard harnesses you were seeing will work fine. The front speakers are technically just one lead to both the woofer and tweeter, so the factory radio is a 4 channel system. Metra p/n 70-6502 or Scosche p/n CR01AB. You will also need the dash kit and antenna adapter.

Awesome! thanks again for the help. I'm not normally this retarded about it, but for once I want to do it up correctly instead of ghetto lol.

Don't sweat it, we all have to start somewhere! Also, I forgot to mention that you will need to hook up the amp turn on wire, should be blue/white on both the aftermarket radio's harness and the harness you buy. If you don't hook it up, your sub won't work.
