8" or 10" Sub

Polyfilled the overhead and stock sub box and now it sounds a little better. But I'm torn between replacing the stock 8" with JL 8w3 pairing with JL 250/1 and Kicker 10" Angled box 40TCWS102 w/ 12CX300.1 amp.

When I had my TJ I had 2 12's and it took up the whole trunk. With my JK I don't want to run with the same problem that is why I settled for 1 sub. Its about 21 W x 15 H x 7 D1 x 4 D2. Im also planning on replacing the speakers with 77kick10 next week.

Should I return the Kicker and get the JL?
Will I be happy with the 8" Sub?
Get the 10" even though you will lose some trunk space?

Help me decide!!!

This is what I am panning, JL 13TW5-3. I lose a little space but it will look stock when complete.

Ever see the sub box built into the seat? I've seen em for TJs, not sure about a JK. That would save ya some room.

You're gonna put this in the stock sub box?

I removed my backseat for now for our trip to Texas and liking the space I'm thinking about not putting it back however I don't want a large sub box in placed of the backseat.

Oh no, stock sub box is to small for just about anything and the amp does not have enough power to even run what is there. I will build a down firing box, lose about 6-7 inches of space across the back but will retain the storage tray. It will look 100% stock with the top on and will look stock with the top off except for people who know Jeeps.

I really like this low profile subwoofer box for a JK. It was reviewed here, and the guy really liked it. It is 500watts RMS with 2-10" subwoofers.
