97 TJ hardtop wiring harness help!

I am a new first time Jeep owner as of Nov 23rd. My Jeep was purchased with a hardtop softop full doors and half doors. The hard top has the connector hanging out but the Jeep has no factory wiring from the dash back there. I have been searching this forum and can't ever get a clear answer. Maybe this will help:

The hardtop is the 97-02 version with dome light and wiper/washer. I don't believe it would have a defrost.

I'm electronically inclined and would prefer to make this all work with switches and relays from the auto part store. I can't see how this would cost over $130. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

My 98 had a switch for a heated defrost. If the rear window as the lines in it, then it has a defroster. As to your wiring I'm not sure what to tell you other than the defroster shuts off automatically after about 5-10 minutes so it doesn't burn up/out. You'd have to find a way to incorporate that into your wiring.

Ok so it doesn't have defrost. I have since bought a factory wiring harness on eBay and it came from a 97 that did come with factory hardtop. The connectors fit perfectly because the hardtop is a 97. Now my question is how do I hook it up under the dash? The harness also came with soundbar wires which I love because that's a future add-on anyway. Please someone help me with the schematics.

Thanks!
