Adventures in cb selection...

I was wondering if anyone could chime in on this one... I want to install a cb in my jeep but I would love to find a unit that does FRS and GMRS frequencies too... Prolly asking alot because they are different bands but maybe there is something out there I havent seen yet..... thanks

Your correct that the cb and GMRS and FRS are on two different bands altogether.
So far as I know, there isnt anything on the market that would accomplish this.

Being a fan of redundancy and reliability, I'd suggest you keep them separate anyway. (Unless your battery dies or the radios are on the same fuse, you'll have at least 1 working radio). This way you can also have both radios monitoring different channels.

Furthermore, AFAIK you will need two antennas either way, and I don't know that they make any radio that will do what you're looking for.
