Air Bag Relay GONE

Hi All, the PO I just saw tonight removed the air bag relay but left the fuses in the box for the airbags, this being the first TJ I've had any reason for this? I am going to pick one up at Autozone and put it in there (hopefully nothing pops) but I was wondering if anyone could think of why other than maybe an airbag light coming on which I would think maybe a clockspring issue which I can check out?
Thanks for the help!

What air bag relay? Where? When did the factory put a relay in that circuit?

i did some tracing of the wires, for some reason i had a second wire set hooked in and the relay was in it to the fuses in the block...i went ahead and removed the second set of wires, then to be safe took it to a dealer to check the circuit and scan the system nothing comes up being wrong but of course they said to be safe lets replace all the wiring back...no reason to though the air bags wires weren't cut just a second wire bypass added with the darn relay circuit...i did all this after verifying someone didn't remove the bags hoping to pass an inspection maybe and getting it fixed later on????? or when the key was in a certain position as the wire was also spliced to the ignition switch?....crazy people out there ...but this is the only item i have found on this thing being jacked around with...so far and no other electrical items that i have found
