Another subwoofer thread

So I just went and upgraded a few different items in my TJ (see below) and am now in search of a subwoofer and enclosure for this. I have read a million threads about what others are doing. I do know that I do not want to do the "under rear seat" type enclosure and am more interested in using the rear area (i know its small). I mostly listen to rap / hip hop but am not interested in going total thump.

Below is what I have currently:

Head Unit: Kenwood KDC-BT955HD
Amp: Alpine PDX-V9
Dash: Alpine Type R 50c Components (ran off amp)
Sound bar: Alpine Type R 60c Components (ran off amp)
Subwoofer: TBD

I have a Diamond D6 12" 2ohm that was in another vehicle of mine. I might use that if I can find a box that fits well, but am also considering 8" or 10" subs, single or dual configurations.

I am not sure how the D6 will sound with the V9 pushing it.

Since you have the sub already give it a shot. Books a box and try it out. if you don't like it you could change the one side to change to a 8 or 10 or different 12
