any thoughts as to wht this might be??

ive been trying to figure this out.. maybe a trailer brake controller (noticing the two screws... BUT theres no hitch on it... i really have no clue as these are 1/2 doors.... the yellow/white has the correct ends to the blue... i can only see these on the driver door...

What do the wires go to in the door? Have you taken the interior panel off to see where the go?

ive had the panel off in the interior but i cannot find where they go to, as for the door, idk because theres nothing out there tht would make any sense.... theres nothing electrical in the door

Could it be for the switch that tell you your door is still open.

the pin is in the tub that indicates door open, thats what i thought initially... soo i plugged it in anyway with the jeep both on and off. no door lights (only when i turn the key off)

i will work on getting the door off here in a few, cause im curious as hell

Finally got around to pulling the door panel... This is what i found.

It is an actuator for the lock... I can't find the brain for it, and there's also no wire going to the passenger door...

Maybe the PO was single and only needed to unlock one door.

Finished my investigation today... P.o. Had some form of keyless/alarm... Damn i threw out my old viper unit would love to have seen if it worked.....

Ok so i know that you finished your investigation and I'm sure you figured out that the wires coming out of the door are from the actuator that was installed with the keyless system. Its the piece with the black rubber grommet attached to the inside of the door via the silver screws in the pic. Sorry the response is late but I just saw the thread.
