Backup camera on 2012 Wranger?

Hi, I swear I saw a site that said the '12s had an option for a backup camera. I've got to have a backup camera. Can someone explain how the after market ones work? If I have the nav touch screen will the camera's image be displayed there?

Don't think it is a factory option at this time.

I have a 2012 JK Unlimited and plan to run the MYgig lock pick and add a back up camera. There are several cameras available, just have to figure out the best place to mount one.

Somebody said talk with the dealer and they can install the camera from the Commander and hook into your touchscreen, or Mygig is next option.

I went with a really nice aftermarket install on mine over the weekend. They replaced the rearview mirror with a really nice auto dimming 3.5" mirror and integrated the camera into that. It displays on the left side of the rearview mirror when in reverse with the nice red/yellow/green ladder parking aids. It looks like a factory installed option and nobody would be able to tell that the jeep didn't come like that. The camera has an insane amount of pincushion though which I am going to call the installer about today. I'm not sure if that can be worked out or not. It doesn't affect your view any but it is odd seeing lines that should be straight all curved around like a bottle. $600 installed which for me was well worth it.

Is anybody aware if the installation of these violates the Maxcare warranty? I have a 7 yr, 84k warranty and about to have a camaera installed.
