can this be done ?

i have one 12 inch sub, and two 6 inch subs, and one 2 channel amp.

is there a safe and proper way in hooking these 3 subs up to the one amp?

here is a pic of what i thought might work.

id hook up the two 6" subs just like normal.
then id hook up the 12" sub bridged in mono, just like you would you were only using a single sub.

will this work?

no need for the small ones, a 10" sub will be enough, the small ones don't hold low notes. best off getting new front and rear speakers to take care of the higher bass notes.

the 6" ones arent for any deep bass. thats what the 12" is for.

im not interested in what will work better, or anything like that.

my question is.... will this work ?

ok so before i go ahead and destroy my amp and subs.... just wanting to double check this.

im thinking that as long as the 12" sub and the two 6" subs are 2 ohm rated, then I will be ok? right??

but does the amp have to be 1 ohm rated ? or does it matter? or what am i needing?

id like to know sooner than later because im planning on physically bolting the sub box and amp to the jeep to prevent it from theft.
if this cant be done properly, i will buy a new amp that will work. but id like to figure that out BEFORE i start drilling holes!

thanks!

yes you can bridge the 12 but im not sure if you can run the other two like you showed in your pic. i would go to the forum on the crutchfield website.
