Can't see the factory NAV screen at all in daylight..

Sorry for the multiple threads about the NAV unit, but this thing is driving me crazy. I have a 2010 Rubi with a factory Media/NAV system. Can someone with this unit help me out with this...how the hell do you see the screen in the daytime?

I couldn't see the screen at all today while driving in moderate sunlight with the hardtop on. I just adjusted the display settings now and will try again tomorrow.

What mode do you guys keep it on? Should I keep it on nightime mode all the time? Maybe the contrast in nighttime mode will be easier to see even in the daytime. Am I just doing something wrong?

Gotcha

Hehehe. On the light switch off the steering column - on the left hand side - theres a wierd series of dashes and dots - turn it away from you.

It's the instrument panel lights.

Took me a bit too...
