cb antenna mount

Got my new cb mounted. I've got my cable and antenna. Now im just waiting for my mount to arrive. Just looking for some advice/ideas on where to mount it. And also any pointers on tuning the antenna in. Im gonna pick up an swr meter in the next couple days. This is my first cb so im a total newb. Any help is appreciated

I mounted mine using a Teraflex driver's side taillight mount...and then ran the antenna in between the soft top and back window under the zipper. There's a gap just big enough to run the wire through. You can prolly do the same on the passenger side as well.

I've got a 3 way mirror mount coming. I plan on mounting it somewhere on the body or the bumper. I guess really just wondering about the height to mount and distance from the radio antenna. Should have said that in the first place I have a 5 foot firestick with a shock. Like I said I know nothing about these things
