CB Antenna Tire Rack Mount - anyone have pics?

Hey guys, I havent really tried it yet, but by the looks of it, the cb antenna may interfere with the rear wiper? is this the case?

Can I see some pics of you did installed yours?
I was going to mount mine to the brke light mount

Mine is mounted on an "L" bracket attached to and extends 4' above the "3rd brake light" stalk-

It's a 4' Firestix tunable glass antenna-

I don't have any CLOSE pics, but I've stated previously how good the reception/xmitting is and some posters won't believe that--Doesn't matter to me, but this spot is an excellent mounting point for the CB antenna, as it allows its position to be over three ft above the JKU hardtop !!







My CB is mounted on the overhead and I use an 18' RG18/U premade cable, routed thru the rollcage padding, to the front of the JKU !!

The "L" bracket has a seperate ground to the tailgate metal-

Thats a sharp looking jeep jimbo !!



I mounted mine to the tailgate with a L bracket also custom cut it to fit rear tire swing bumpstop holes. I have a 5 foot firestik for the trails. I have 7.5 lift so it hits stuff. I use 3 foot for daily travel. I will get a pic soon

Heh Heh, there's a hell of a lotta things you can do with "Hardware" "L" brackets !!
