| CB mount
I use the Cobra 75. It has a remote mount for the main part and just the microphone is visible in the Jeep. I love it and like not having to worry about the main CB being in the Jeep. Also, it is more secure because I disconnect it when not in use, slide it into an old tube sock, and lock it in the tuffy. Here is a link to it on Cobra's page. http://www.cobra.com/index.php?page=...e&product_id=5 |

Just a reminder...
I'm still working on the CB installation write-up I am doing for the forum. It is almost done, but I can't keep my attention on it long enough to get it done.
I will send it to deverhart and khenderson when I am done, because I think they have plans for tech write-ups...

They are both consoles I designed and made.
The console with the larger CB was made last year. I took it apart when I designed the other console to see where I could make improvements. I am finishing up on this console
later this week. The aluminum front panel will be replaced with a steel panel as soon as I get the metal bent.
I have more pictures for anyone interested on my website @ http://www.otrattw.com
I'm retiring the design to work on consoles for larger radios with locking rear compartments, or dual radio designs after this.

Thanks, I had a good time designing and building it.
I just need to remove it from my Jeep so I can test out something new.
