CB Radio

I saw an article somwhere online where a guy installed a CB in his Wrangler. He mounted to antenna on his spare tire/spare tire rack.
He had the coax coming through the rear gate and out with the wiring harness to his brake.

I want to put a fiberglass antenna on it. Cosmetics are important and leaving EVERYTHING as is, also important.

Can anyone help?

I think with any design, you are going to have some compromise. I installed a KB40 antenna (cb + NOAA weather) above the driver's tail light using a bracket fastened to the rear quarter panel. I was able to sneak the coax under the soft-top without splicing it. I grounded the mount inside the tail light.

It ain't no fun unless you get some of it on you.

mine is mounted on my Rock Hard bumper's swing away tire carrier with the wire run underneath and it comes up through the tail light harness grommet.

Minw mounts to my OR Fab swing away tire carrier. Coax routes along the carrier and in under the softtop to the right of the rear soft top bracket just right of the zipper.

My 2m/70cm sits on a mount that uses the top 2 OEM spare tire bolts. Coax runs in alongside the cb coax.
