How do you mount it to the tire carrier? Could you take some pics of that?

i just got my CB setup for xmas. i was wanting to make my own mount and bolt it to the stock tire carrier. but i wasn't sure if i should go with steel, or aluminum? steel's harder to work with, but will one be a better ground than the other? what about stainless steel?

How did you mount it? With the bolt that holds the tire carrier on?

Did you have to grind down the paint or anything like that?

As far as conductivity for a ground, you won't see any difference with any of those materials.

Just make sure you have a good bond to the tub and frame.
