Unhappy Cell or.................

Ok! The world revolves around the "cell-phone", we all admit to that!

However, you folks know when you get into the Mtn's that there are many "dead-spots" and depending on your carrier, there may be large geographic dead-spots!

So, is anyone still using the ole "CB" anymore? If so, what is the BEST, today?

I use my CB on the trail, haven't had much use for it on the road yet.

I recommend rightchannelradios for the antenna at the very least. I like my Wilson Flex 3'

I just got a cheap little Midland ($20 off FleaBay) that works OK for highway traffic. I bought a handheld because I didn't want to hassle with mounting it permanently. (Amazing how such a big car can have so little available room !)

No idea how it'd do out in the boonies, but CB's pretty much line-of-sight anyway.
