Cheap lights

Found these and was gonna mount them on the windshield. I know you get what you pay for but i dont need (or can afford) a $200 pair of lights. Anyone have or seen them?

Looks pretty snazzy. Just be sure you dont overload whatever circuit you wire them to. If possible, try to wire them through a selenoid linked to your high-beam selector.

Also might wanna consider a couple of rubber "washers" under the mounting plate to act as vibration-dampers. Too tight....bad. Too loose....bad. Kinda like.....your grip on a baseball bat. (sheesh!)

Personally, I'd mount them with about 10-degree offset to the left and right so that they aim at the EDGE of the road about 100 yards ahead of you. You will still get plenty of "straight-ahead" illumination , but will gain LOTS of peripheral visibility....especilly in the ditches that deer use to ambush innocent passers-by.

At $30....how can you go wrong?

YUP, they'll work-just remember, you do get what you pay for--

Mounting is very important for exposure/vibration/radio antenna clearance and wiring is up to the individual !!

My KC "Daylighters" have 1" CL for the antenna and are instantaneously adjustable for coverage angle !

Before you get them, and pay freight...check out your local autoparts store, even KMart-and see what they have in-stock! 100W isn't all that much...many 'stock' headlights have that for highbeam already. So you may not be gaining much!
VIP, Autozone, etc. all have many different types of lights...check them out first, and the vendors here...you DO get what you pay for and 'cheap'....may not hold up long.

Yea im with him about the cheap lights I bought some from my local auto parts store and then swapped the bulbs out to 130watts so little up grade to them but i mean for $50 I can have 2 130watt lights and the wiring harness instead of paying $200+ just to have them say KC but got a question if i tie into the wiring and run 4 lights off the same wiring harness will it dim the lights any I talked to an electrician at my work and he said that it wouldnt mess it up or anything but sometimes im not so sure about him so any help?

Also anyone mounted lights on the rear for brighter back up lights and to blind tailgaters lol?
