I bought a 97 TJ a few weeks ago and it didn't have a radio in it because it had been stolen. The thief damaged the dash where the mounting bracket goes, but more importantly, they cut the factory wiring harness
I can fab something to mount the radio, that's not a problem. I would like to find a donor vehicle and cut the harness out to fix mine. I've looked on Crutchfield and the wiring adapter for "selected Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Eagle, and Plymouth models, 1984-up". Can I use a harness from any chrysler product from 84-up?
It's going to be very hard to find a Jeep in a salvage yard where I live, but it would be nice if I could get one out of something else.
Anyone have any idea of the compatibility between the wiring harness of different Chrysler vehicles?
