Easy HU install

I have 2012 jk unlimited. Is there a HU on the market with nav that will slip in existing spot without modifying ?

You will probably need to remove a bracket for any aftermarket unit. You can see my thread in this forum for pics. It's pretty easy.

I bought a double din Metra brand with nav (I would NOT recommend this brand).

I only mention it beacuse it should be a similar install to others. I had to buy a new wiring harness and remove the bracket as stevil mentioned. Overall it was fairly easy.

It depends on what you have as the stock Audio system, and the accessories, for example, do you have steering wheel controls? All car stereo's will fit in a Double Din Radio slot without modifying the opening. What I mean by "all" are Double Din's, Single Din's, and 1.5 Din's. You will need an install kit to make the installation look professional with any stereo installation.
