extra lighting for the interior of my TJ

im thinking about buying something like this to put on the windshield frame in between the visors. my jeep is lacking light at night to look for things and the center light in the soundbar just isnt cutting it.

Flexible LED Strips

i would really like to wire those lights to the wire that controls the center light, what is the best way of wiring that up? can i just splice into that wire and mount the lights?

any other good ideas?

I got a rearview mirror from a Camaro. It has lights for both passenger and driver side. Works well. Wires hidden in the area around the frame.

how much did that cost you? and where did you get the mirror from? AND how did you wire it to turn on when the normal soundbar light turns on?

I've installed the cheapo versions of those that you can get at autozone or advanced auto parts. Both on a switch and wired to the doors.

If you have the lights in the foot wells you could tap into those, or if you fell like chasing wires, you could tap into the power wire for the sound bar light.

all you need to "tap" into the #4 fuse(door light, dome light...) is one of these

Cooper Bussmann/ATC fuse tap converts one into two fusible circuits - 10 Amps maximum on added circuit (BP-HHA-RP) | Fuse and Accessories | AutoZone.com
