Factory Radio Partially Quit ???

Ok, I'm New to this JK Jeep thing. The JK has 101000 miles on it for a 2007. Today I was driving into a new area and went to set the radio station in to the programming as station # 4. It showed that all channels were changed to this station #. Next I tried to reprogram the original station to the original position channel and nothing would program. My son hit the CD/DVD button and it switched to CD/DVD and will not change back to FM/AM. Then we tried to adjust the volume control and it would only operate to the lower volume #. Now I have the radio set at CD/DVD and the Volume at 0, and unable to change anything. None of the controls will work except for the ON/OFF control and the changing of the CD/DVD 1-6 screen to the Volume 0 screen when you operate the knob. So any help would be appreciated, Do I need to replace it or is there a way to reset it or ??? Thanks.
