fog light switch

my fog light switch on my Jeep Tj 2003 keeps switching on by itself. I removed the fuse so that it doesn't drain my battery. Does this mean i have to change the whole switch?

This is a common issue if you have the multi function switch--and a lot of Jeepers just wire a different switch instead of replacing the multi function---I know I did that ---switch is pricey--if not B/O.

I haven't looked at the switch much but how do i go about finding the wires near the switch to hook up to a new switch? I'll take a look at it and get back to you.

x2

Mine's starting to act up too. I'm considering just putting in a toggle switch, but don't know which wires to tap into.

The power in/out is the pink/light green and white/orange wires. I just did this for my Jeep a few weeks ago.
