Fuse #1 keeps blowing

98 Tj and dash lights went out on way home. Fog lights not working. Tail lights out. Brake lights work. Hanged out fuse # 1 and it blew again when I turned the lights on. Please help! Everyday driver and it's dark when I drive home from work.

Had this happen to me on my 98 last week. Turned out to be my front park/blinker socket. $13.99 at Auto Zone. I found my drivers one corroded and replaced both. Hope this helps. About 10 minutes to fix both.

As soon as I removed the light bulb assembly from the light you could smell how burnt it was.
