Harbor freight wireless winch controler

I just got a smittybilt xrc8 winch and was wondering if anyone tried to hook up the harbor freight wireless winch remote. If so, I'd appreciate any advise you may have on how to install it. Thanks.

I just hooked that remote to my Warn XD9000i last night. First, in case you didn't know (like I didn't) that tiny green wire has to be grounded for it to work. After that you basically just mount it somewhere out of the way and plug it in. I plan on attempting to hardwire mine inside the winch case eventually, then I'll still have the wired switch available if I need it. Good luck!
