Has anyone installed a flush-mount power inverter with usb?

I would really like to install a custom flush mount power inverter but I was curious about where people put it. I was thinking in the dash, glove compartment or center console. Any pics and power inverter suggestions would be extremely helpful.

I'm thinking of puuting mine in my glove box. I'm going to cut/remove the storage compartment and mount it to the door. Hard wire it with a circuit breaker to the battery. Havent' gotten to it yet cause I am starting it on my Xterra soor.

Hope I am not breaking any rules by posting a link to another forum, but this is too hilarious not to share (oh and useful too)

Haha! That's exactly what I was looking for!! Not as clean as it could have been but still perfectly serves the purpose. That write up is awesome.

The fact that it's not as clean is why it's how NOT to install ;-) Hopefully it's a good baseline to go off for you, I'm going to do something similar and may do a full writeup of how TO install ;-)
