How much of a budget are you on? Do you want to be able to charge your ipod? Are you going to run a sub with it too?

Pioneer had some great units. They have variable high and low pass filters along with 5-7 band eq's several inputs and all on a decent price.

If you have an iphone, ipod, or ipod touch you best bet is getting a unit with a built in interface. That way you can control everything from the unit
