Head unit for a TJ

Looking for something with AUX in.. I'd love for it to look as close to factory as possible maybe get one from a JK or something?

Long story short I need AUX in on something that doesn't look like it's worth stealing. Any suggestions?

I have a Dual motoied headunit that has clips that attach it into the little slider thing that it mounts in.(if that makes sense) Only way you can get it out is by reaching up behind it and geting lucky to hit it with a screw driver. It's such a pain in the ass to do that i really don't think any thieve would waste there time.

I picked up a nice Pioneer unit, DEH 2200ud for $100 a few weeks ago, iPod, iPhone, Aux in..... it sounds great, and at that price I wouldn't cry for long if it goes missing....

^yeah those things are priced at $0.01 for a reason, they're cheap and they have lower quality than a tape would.

i have the pioneer DEH-P6900UB and it has the aux input and a usb in the rear that i hook up my ipod to. it puts out great sound with its 7 band eq, low pass filters and high pass filters, sub controls right at the touch of you finger, 4 volt outputs, 3 rca outputs with one set just for a sub.

get an inexpensive headunit, and hope it doesn't walk away.

I chose a low end pioneer as did many others apparently. I had one faceplate walk away (damn kids).

MY Ipod is wired directly to it, and is locked away inside my tuffy console. its great.

I have a high end Alpine in my Lotus, with the ipod inside the dash...same principle.

it's not really 1cent cause they get u on the shipping, and the quality is just fine have used one for years in cars that just have radios and has always worked great, just my opinion...

I need one that will not get destroyed in very dusty conditions or when it rains.

would like to be able to play mp3 discs and have an aux in for my mp3 player or a usb port for a flash drive.

I don't want to have the slideout or removable faceplate ones (do they even make those still... I saw that McGruber has one)

What do you suggest?

Thanks

Maybe you'd wanna look at a marine head unit, and yes plenty of units still have detachable faces.
