rear speaker so 6.5" will fit fine?
Help me pick
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...2I&tp=95&avf=N

Do you think I should get a 4 channel amp? I'll get a sub later on down the road.

Thanks.

What ever head unit you get, make sure it has RCA pre-outs if you are going to get an amp. I mounted a pair of 6x9's in my console, and put another pair of 6x9's in pods by the roll bar. I have an Auto-tek 66 (old school amp) on the dash speakers and the 6x9's in the console, and a JVC amp on the other pair of 6x9's in the pods. You might try e-bay as well, they have some good deals on audio gear!

I would not buy a new head unit unless it was equipped with bluetooth built in, JVC and Pioneer both make them as do others but the JVC and Pioneer have external microphones for better placement.

Infinitys are great speakers, but if you get them, dont short yourself. get the Kappas. I used to have a 12" Kappa Perfect with aluminum cone...best sub i ever owned.

When you say rca in's and outs do you mean the rca comes in then goes back out and connects to the speakers with rca's?

These look good and I will not need to buy the plate to fit 5.25"speakers. What do you think?

I really enjoy my Kappa's but you NEED an amp for them. They require more RMS power to sound good esp. with the top off. As for the head unit, the poineer looks good and has some good features for that price. I on the other hand really love my Alpine. The sound controls (ie. Bass and Treble) are really easy to work and it has tons of features. Just another option. Again I really enjoy my Kappa's but I highly reccomend a 4 channel amp to go with them. (and spend the money and get the 5 1/4 upfront. Also with the kapps you may have to clearance some of the sound bar(depending on brand) to get them to fit.(not a big deal though)

Just my opinion

Hardy

as for an amp for the speakers, with that head unit you can get away without one. the reason i have an amp if for the rear kappa perfect components is that they demand the power to work.
