Hit-and-miss startup?

Jeep Wrangler 1999, 5speed, 4cyl.
It has a new battery, new terminals, properly installed.
It only starts half the time! Ive had 3 mechanics check it out and they cant find whats wrong. I've double checked the alternator, its charging around 14. Ive double checked where the battery grounds to the body, all is well there. The killswitch under the battery is properly working.

Any ideas??

Have you had a Tune up? Not sure what you mean by Hit-and-miss startup though. Does that mean that it cranks but won't turn over? Or does that mean sometimes it just won't do anything?

It could be anything. Distributor, spark plugs, starter, ignition switch, etc. Have you run a code check for errors? My understanding is that some of the major auto part stores can run a free diagnostic for code errors. You can also do the self-diagnostic error check yourself. It is pretty simple.

Read OBDII codes on your odometer - easy!

check engine code check?
