How do you know if you have the premium sound system

I have an '05 TJ it has the subwoofer in the console does that mean it has the premium sound system. If not what does indicate this I need to know what harness adapter to get.

Go to crutchfield.com, select automotive sound system, setup my car, then follow the steps, they will identify what you have. The only difference I can see is the difference between 4 speaker or 7 speaker sound under the options for that year wrangler.

Hey richp,

I went to cruthfield's home page. Here's the link:

Crutchfield: LCD TV, Car Audio, Home Theater, Speakers, Plasma TV

Now where do I select "automotive sound system"? I can seem to find it.

For a "premium" system, you should have 4 speakers in the dash (One box with a tweeter and a small speaker on each side) a factory sound bar, and a subwoofer in the console. If you have a factory sound bar and subwoofer, you probably have the premium sound.
