How do you remove these?

How do you remove these,



And would it be very hard to install one if these in a blank one?

My understanding is that there is unfortunately not an easy way to add custom switches there as a factory circuit board runs the entire length immediately behind it (no room).


This guy found a way but he used a tiny momentary switch and the stock button face:

Well, I guess it'll have to go on the dash, under the steering wheel then.

Inside the centre console is a good place to have a switch, especially if it's a switch that you don't want other people like, say, vehicle examiners or cops to find. If you were using it for something that you didn't want people like that to find out about, obviously. Which I'm sure you're not.
