On the low end of that I left the factory headunit and replaced the crapola speakers with T-3 audio compenents. The difference was night and day. Cost was approx $160 for 4 5 1/2" 3 ways and 2 tweets and took about 2 hours to install.

what do you mean by volume?

by being able to play something at a certain volume and having it sound distorted and muffled and like shit? or by playing something at the same volume and having it sound nice and crisp and clear ?

im gonna go out on a limb here and say that replacing everything with nice aftermarket parts like Jma20a did will probably sound better...or "give you more volume"

the kappa perfect components are very clean and crisp, they don't distort at all. when i turn the volume up all the way nothing is being over powered by the other, its all perfectly balanced. the best part is being able to set off car alarms with just a 10" sub.

the kappa perfect components were $230 ish on ebay, the kappa's in front $50. eveything i have is all off of ebay and i saved over $700 on everything, speakers sub amp box headunit all wiring. all together i spent around $450-$500.

Hi,

I have the X Package, which doesnt have the tweeters on the bar, Are they easy to install?

Can you send me a link to those speakers you bought?

my jeep didn't have stock tweeters either. i removed the soundbar and took off the fabric to get to the bare metal. i had to drill 2 holes for each tweeter one for the wires to go through and a screw hole. when i cut the fabric i didn't cut the hole the same size of the tweeter, i cut it about half the size so that it looks clean. at the end it took about an hour to install the tweeters. i also upgraded the speaker wire to a larger gauge. and got them from ebay. just type in "infinity kappa perfect" or just "infinity kappa"
