in dash stereo trouble

I have a 95 wrangler 4 banger hard top. first jeep I have ever owned and put in a decent system. after 8 months or so the stereo died. should I get a marine in dash radio. My jeep leaks when it rains hard and it gets a little wet back there have tried to seal it but it just keeps happening. Best suggestions on an in dash stereo would be greatly appreciated, only need basic 4 channel with aux plug but would not mind usb port as well. Thanks skinner

Hey Skinner - A Marine rated stereo will hold up better than a non-marine one when it comes to wet environments. I have a cheap JVC unit in mine (around $50) that has everything you're asking for. It' s not marine rated but it's never had a problem and I don't have ANY top or ANY doors to protect it.

^^^^^XXXX2....... especially in a Jeep.... but in ALL of my ragtops, not worth the $$$ to tempt someone to steal a high end system.

something with a removable face place helps no matter what you get. If you are good about taking it off you will be good.
