Infinity Sub

Hey folks,

Just bought a Jeep yesterday and cannot get the rear stock Infinity subwoofer to work.
I checked the manual for the fuse location. Found a 25a fuse in that spot and replaced it with a 30a thinking that would fix it.
Nope.....

I have the stock radio, sound bar and Infiniti stereo system. Everything works except the speaker in the back corner of the Jeep.
First time jeep owner, any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Make sure there is a sub there. I have seen were they install the sub panel even in models without the sub.

Thanks, I unbolted the housing and found a speaker in there. The wires were in tact (no corrosion).
Only thing I can think off would be if the wire is cut or rusted along the way?

What year and trim model is your Jeep? Is it a Sahara or Rubicon? Do you have the infinity amp, it's located up under the dash directly above where your left foot sits, behind the speaker pod. Just trying to find out if you actually have the premium sound option. No amp-no sub power.

Thanks for letting me know the amp location!
I will check it out when I get home tonight. (Can't wait to get off work, just so I can drive my Jeep)
It is a Sahara trim level with an option noted as "7 speaker Infinity Sound System".
I have two tweeters up front, left/right front door speakers......heck you probably already know this..

I will check the amp and see what's going on. Who knows maybe it was taken out or just not hooked up.

I think all the Saharas have the premium system. You may have a bad amp or bad wiring between the amp and sub. Time for an upgrade.
