I know the felling,I'm not a CB Rambo but I have ran in to a bunch of crazy drivers setting on party roll that thought that they had BIG radio's and had to put them to shame! I'm nice but if they start up I have to put my two senc. in!

Well, after a couple of months of going in and out of the garage, the tip of my antenna broke off tonight. Not as flexy as I thought it would be. Now to see if Wilson will cover it. I hope so. I guess I should get a quick disconnect for my next antenna.

Sorry to hear that, but I'm surprised. Maybe it just caught on something the wrong way. I've whacked mine on the garage going in and out for over a year and this weekend it basically acted as a tree branch deflector and no problems so far. I would email Clear Channel and see if they will cover it first rather than going directly to Wilson.

Contacting Wilson directly turned out to be a run around, so I e-mailed Right Channel yesterday and they got back to me today and are sending me a new antenna.

I will be ordering a quick disconnect before I put it back on so that I can take it off before pulling into my garage.

They sure are. I am going to recommend them to anyone that is looking for a radio set up.

Thank you for recommending them to me.

I don't have a quick disconnect, I just unscrew my antenna from the coil base, Of course, I don't use it when I have to stay in town, but

It's gone a year, probably 30 times and no degradation of threads or reception !!

That was with the stock 32" BFG's and no lift, but once, I got outta that shale it was pretty easy and the other side is just a grassy slope, looks pretty bad, but upclose, it ain't !!

Here coming back, was easy and someone had been over that rock a bunch of times, so I didn't blaze any new trails !!
