Just installed new Polk's

HOLY CRAP!!! I'm probably getting overly excited about this so let me keep it real. First, these speakers look really good. Second, from what I understand the stock JK Infinity amp is 2ohms and these are 4ohm speakers, meaning they would get half of the power delivered by the amp if I'm not mistaken. Even with that said they are much louder and far more clear. There is no comparison to the stock crap. I installed the DB651 coaxial in the soundbar with polyfill. The next step is installing the DB6501 component set up front in the dash.

What I am really stocked about is I plan to amp these up and they are going to sound amazing. I already swapped out the stock sub with an 8" Kicker Comp VR 2ohm DVC in the stock enclosure (not really happy with it but it's livable) and have it powered by a Rockford Fosgate Punch 300x1 at 1ohm. I'm going to power the Polks with the Rockford Fosgate Punch 300x4 which produces 75x4 RMS. This should be a great combo for the Jeep. I was in a hurry after work to get these in while I had light and didn't take any pictures but I will post some once it's all done.

If you're thinking about upgrading the soundbar and keeping the upgraded Infinity amp then this is a great combo!!.
2012 JKU, 3.5" Rubicon Express lift, 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers, Pro Comp 17's, Smittybilt SRC rock rails, XRC front bumper with XRC8000 winch, Wurx rear bumper, and other stuff that's cool!!!
