Two are usually plenty, I prefer mounting them on top of the bumper so glare isn't a problem.

I had a pair of their 8" Rally 800 lights, one was the Driving & the other was the Long Range version which was a combination recommended by KC. They worked really well, I miss them... they were on my previous TJ that was stolen a few years ago and they really worked well.

Lights « Rally800 « KC HiLiTES: Auxiliary Lighting, Off Road Lights, HID Off Road Lights, Fog Lights, LED Light Bars, Driving Lights, Light Bars, Wiring Accessories, Flashlights, Torches

Here's a very old pic of that Jeep with those particular lights, make sure to install them with a pre-wired offroad light wiring harness. Such pre-wired wiring harnesses include a relay to provide the extra power (current) that is required for that powerful of a light.

I did put my 100W KC Daylighters on windshield brackets, the hood flare is really not disturbing as they are long range ones and have a focused beam, they are awesome !

Looking to put 2 more KC driving or fog lights on the bumper or grill guard, but still on a reflexion about rocks, trees and stuff getting so close !

I have the KC fog replacements for the TJs and a set of slim lights...more light than I will ever need....but there are times/ conditions where one works better than the other....IDK it made that much difference till I tried them both on a bad weather night out in the country.

IMO it is personal preference.....I can argue both sides but for my use the bumper/ grill gaurd is better.....I have issues with glare "naturally". (rain snow fog) I never wanted to chance putting them on the windshield for that reason. I have heard it said. "Its not that bad." (the glare off the hood for windshield mounts).....to me it is kinda like sushi....that people say its not that bad and they put it in their mouth.....WHY? WHY would you put something in your mouth willingly, "that is not that bad"? I only like to put good things in my mouth like BACON!!!!

End Rant and no real help............sorry
