Kenwood sub

I just got a kenwood 10" pre-amped sub tonight from my uncle its a 250w amp re beneath the sub, in a separate compartment. I know its not crazy, but i think it will add to the lows ALOT. so yeah it will be in the trunk, so should it face in at the seat? or towards the rear windsheild, ill probally try both!

i have a hardtop which is good, but how about when the top is off, will i get any sense of the sub being there?

here she is:

sorry for blurry, was taken with my cell phone and my bro jumped on the bed and shook my hand :/

Hrmmm...I'm not a sound guru so don't quote me on this, but I would think you'd still get bass. Prolly not nearly as much...but I'm sitting here thinking bout it. My computer has a 6 1/2" subwoofer and even with all the open space of the room, I still feel the bass. Granted if my room were half the size, I might feel a bit more.

I'd think you'd still notice it though.

i have a 10in sub and with the top and doors off going 70mph you can still hear and feel the sub, I think one 10 is plenty for a jeep and the best part about the one like you have is that you can take it out if you need the room or if you are going offroad,

if you are going to be taking ur top down alot its better if the sub is facing down like towards the floor forgot the exact reason but bassically you will loose alot of bass when u are driving with the wind but all my friends have it facing the seat and that seams to work the best
