Lockpick USB software update challange!

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the Mygig RHR Nav unit/Uconnect and I added a back up camera using the Lockpick device.
Every couple of weeks my steering wheel controls (radio seek and volume etc) stops functioning and shortly after the head unit powers off. I pull the fuse and it re-sets and works great for a couple of weeks until it powers off again.
I unhooked the Lockpick device and it stopped powering off etc. So I contacted Coastal Electronics who make the LockPick and they recomended that I update the software on the Lockpick unit through the USB input after downloading the installer and new software from their web site.

All went well with the download but when I hook up th USB and run the program I get a Runtime error ( run time" error 11 division by 0")
which stops the program/update everytime.
I am running window 7 on my Laptop.

So... has anyone that owns the Lockpick successfully completed a software update? Did it go well or same issue? Does anyone have a solution or suggestion? (The company is really hard to get on the phone so I thought I'd ask the people
Thanks,

BK
