My bad on advise- meant advice* (blame it on the autocorrect)

I know there's prob a lot of threads out there but I'd like to get a fresh opinion- I have an 05 wrangler, all the electrical is stock. I'd like to have a bangin sound system before the summer and the top comes off. Is there any sub woofs that fit easily in wranglers or wire to stock radio?

Any advice on an aftermarket stereo, speakers, or sub anyone?

I got a Dual XHD7715 Head Unit. Has every feature I wanted, bluetooth (phone and music), hd radio, usb in the front, 3.5mm aux input.

JL 300/4V2 4 channel amp. 75 Watts RMS.

Infinity 4629CFP 4x6 speakers.

Going to hook all that up this weekend if I get the speakers and amp install kit (bought online).

Can't wait to hear how it sounds.

Sound bar is number one in upgrading the sound system, unless your jeep already has one. In the sound bar, go with 6.5 inch Polk audio component speakers. In the dash go with 4x6 polks.

Get that stock head unit out of there. You'll need a Sony head unit with 3 preamplifier outputs on the back that you will plug RCAs into.

These RCAs will plug into an amp of your choice. A good option for this amp is a boss 1800 watt amp. It will have plenty of power to supply everything with the correct amount of power.

Off the amp, you can run a JBL 12 inch sub in the trunk or a 10 inch Mtx sub. I suggest and prefer the sub to be in a sealed box.

one of the most important things to do when upgrading your audio system is making sure the ohms and rms wattage of the amplifier match those of the speakers and sub.

This combination is the best sounding system I've heard in a jeep so far. But everyone hears differently!

As for bargain, I'd say keep the stock stereo, replace dash and soundbar speakers, and add a line output converter going to a 10" sealed sub and an amp for the sub..

To step it up a little, do as above only replace the stock headunit (this also eliminates the line output converter).

To step it up a little further, add an amp for the dash and soundbar speakers.

and a bit further, upgrade to kickpanels with amped components and a more powerful 10 or 12" sub in a ported tuned box (built to the T/S parameters of the sub).
