Thanks, that looks like a more solid solution than the stick-on button. I've already ordered the stick-on one from Amazon so I'll see how it holds up, but that looks like a better long-term answer.
I'm wondering, could you just leave the belt clip on and drill a hole in it to attach the button? It might stick out a little more, so I don't know if it would work as well, but just a thought.
Also, did you find a good place to hang the mic? I'm thinking of something like this
, although I would need to find one that fits a 2010 which has a different handle design than the 2011-2013s. I think this would work on the Midland with a button attached, but not positive.
This is about the right location that I'd like to hang it, close to the power source and easily reachable. The piece that I ordered has a stick-on hanger also, so I might try that on the handle, but I don't know if it will hold up very long.
