I was told that either a Kenwood SW11 or the Kicker Hideaway 8" powered subwoofers would fit under the back seat of a 94 Wrangler. Does anyone have experience with either of those?

I'm about to buy a crutchfield powered sub.. Heard they go under the drivers seat and add a lot to a factory system. Obviously not gonna blow your ear drums out, but that's not what I want..

Thinking about taking industrial strength Velcro and mounting under drivers seat? Anybody have one?

The only drawback I see to the powered small subs under the seat is washing out the floor. I have my interior bed lined so I can wash it and I don't have to worry if it rains with the amp tucked up high. If you are going this route I would look for a marine unit.

I did think about that.. Ive been seeing a lot of people mounting amps under the dash, I don't see why I couldn't mount a small powered sub under there

I am not sure there is room. I know some people have mounted powered subs in the console. Just have to measure and see.
