Mounting Subwoofers

I am going to get sub(s) for my jeep. It's a 98 wrangler tj. I was wondering what type and size of sub I should get and also where to put it. The only two places I can think of are in the storage area in the back or in the console. I have two 8 inch pioneer speakers and am also wondering if the getting a sub/ subs would cover up the sound from those speakers. So if you have subs please post how you fit them in your jeep and how they perform.

i had a 12" sub and enclosure but took out my back seat to fit some other stuff and had extra room for my setup. i dont think you need more than one sub in a jeep. just get a nice 12" and put it in the rear, behind the rear seat. the only other option is a powered sub, look into the infinity basslink powered sub, its the only powered i would recommend getting.
