My roof lights wont come on!!

So as the title says my roof lights won't turn on!? There's usually a clicking noise that can be heard from somewhere behind the dash (at least that's what it's seems) now all that can me heard it the switch clicking.
What's going on??

I'd guess either the relay (that's what makes the clicking sound behind the dash) is dead or more likely the fuse has blown and even possibly a loose ground somewhere. I'd start with the fuse then check the relay and possibly try a known good relay in it. If it still doesn't work then it's probably a wiring problem. My old jeep had a nasty habit of loosening electrical connections that weren't soldered.

So I think I've figuired it out. I think it was because of a loose bolt which connected it to the battery. Good news it that now it works. thank for your help.
