I was wondering if it was possible to install the mygig system into my 07 jeep wrangler if i found one in a Auto wreckers? What parts from the wrecked jeep would i need? Are all mygig systems produced by dodge the same, if so could i just find one from any dodge product and install it in my jeep?

I know that it can definetly be done..And I do not think that it is all that difficult...For help I would call these guys.
http://www.coastaletech.com/MYGIG.htm

I came across the site yesterday. They have something called MyGig Lockpick which I am going to order tonight. It turns on the u-connect feature, allows easily install of a backup camera, and allows you to watch movies on the Nav While driving (which isn't the brightest thing to do) what I really like is that it also allows you to enter address in the Nav while driving. I just got my sahara unlimited and was very annoyed when I was out this weekend with my wife, we were lost she was trying to enter the address in the Nav while I was driving (on a highway lost!) and I had to pull off onto a grass shoulder so she could enter the address in the Nav.

The only reason I think they might be able to help you is because there is mention on the site of how the product works for people who have MyGig and for people who have done self install's of MyGig.

I would give them a call and pretend you are interested in buying there product ask to speak with a tech support guy...and just say "by the way I got a MyGig radio to do the retrofit would you happen to know if I need anything else or is the radio plug and play?"
