I just picked up this used Corolla as a commuter since I'm starting a 125-mile daily round trip commute next week...
So I noticed this odd little aftermarket switch on the dash:
I'm trying to figure out how it operates, what it is exactly, etc.
I know that with the key out of the car, I can click it (it's a push-in-lock, push-out-lock style switch) and nothing happens. doing the same with the key in ACC causes it to light up. If I do it a couple of times (I don't know the pattern yet) the horn honks once and the switch starts flashing. After flashing for a few seconds the horn starts honking repeatedly in an alarm state until I press the button again.
I'm confused. Nobody's going to want to steal this thing so I don't mind just not touching it, but I'm still curious. Anyone seen it before?
