Nav/DVD while driving 2012 jk 730N

Is there a way to do this without using the mygig or navtv?

Please spare me the "its unsafe" or other comments that don't help

I am currently in the process of doing this to an aftermarket alpine system and have an auto lecky friend making up an earth on a micro switch which Wil be hanging down Beside centre counsol / seat that will enable me to earth out park brake switch when Passenger wants to watch dvd while im driving then I can return it to normal so park brake alarm will operate still. Just an easier option then pulling dash apart to find wires. Hope this helps

After pulling out centre counsol more have been easier to pull dash apart. If u wanna jus earth the green park brake wire it be easier jus don't leave the hand brake on
