As a side note, BOSS is definitely cheaply made product. If you've had any kind of quality head unit(s) in the past, you're likely to not be impressed with the quality of a Boss unit.
Agreed. Not plugging them, have no connection whatsoever with them (besides ordering from), but Crutchfield is a good way to go. They will send mount, harness, adapters, and instructions with your purchase. Customer svc is usually really good too. Their site will find whatever fits your particular model. They will even show "budget minded" stuff for those of us who can't plop down $600 towards stereo equipment.
I don't want to get a tongue lashing for this, just passing some info.
Thanks for the info ill look into some crutchfied products! You might have just saved me a huge head ache and some cash, Thanks for the tips guys! Ill post when i figure on what im going to stick with. What size do you think would be the max i could fit, just for reference? And i have subs wired into the back of my current unti , i would most likely have to get some sort of an adapter for that as well? (if theres no direct port for them like there is now).
I can't find any reviews on it.
I research the bejeepers out of stuff before I buy it. Not trying to dissuade you from buying it, it could be good, but it could be crap. Hate to throw a bill or two at something then hate it or it end up junk. Ask car stereo guys, look up reviews, do some leg work- it will pay off.
Ok I'll keep searching, since I'm pullin everything out and doin some work do you think I should hook up another amp for my front and soundbar speakers? I hear it really helps out with volume and quality
