New CB!!

Just got my cobra CB and 102" steel whip installed on my Jeep. Im very happy right now! It looks great, pics will be up soon.

Anyone else running a 102" whip, or what are you all running?

Dang 102"...thats quite the whip. I was running a 4 foot firestick for almost 3 years and just went to a 3 footer recently

Ya I havent had any issues with Firestick. I get decent range, and transmission is clear. 9 feet of whip might get in the way on the trail

Yeah, people say alot of established ORV parks dont allow them unless they are tied down tight! I wouldnt ever try to run that beast without it being tied down. People talk about them flinging around and smackin people in the face!

I might take it back tomorrow and get a 5' version or so. Idk I kinda like the seems like forever range I have

If you like the 102, maybe you could just get a shorter antenna for when you are on the trails

I have exactly that, a 102 for the highway and around town. And a 4' firestick for the trails

The 102 is definantly a beast though. I love its performance. I wish it would work well tied down, cause it looks sweet!

The pictures I promised! I like the set-up, i might be taking the 102" whip back. Its a little big, and hits stuff and I'm not out in the desert where the trails dont have trees lol.

Anyone wanna buy it? Haha. Enjoy the pictures though. I've screwed the 4' firestick back on there and its working alright.
