New Head unit w/bluetooth and USB

Heres the new JVC BT-1 I was ordered last week, I mounted the head unit, removed one of the blank switch inserts and trimmed it out for the USB cable connection. I put the microphone on the window visor for the phone. Darn thing also powered up and ran my 120gb usb hard drive but I don't have any music on it, just curious if it would work, it's my back up imaging drive for my laptop.
Here is the insert after I cut the hole out for the USB plug, it's tight too, it has ridges in it so you really have to work at it to get it in, I took the extra time to fit it that way, tight. It's also got a dust cover too for when not in use.

Thats my 1 gig really really small USB stick with 9 albums on it in 9 different folders and it works, very neat IMO.... The stick is in 1st gear so no, it does not hit the key.

Dam, just noticed my alarm wires sticking out behind the vents, forgot to pull them back.

Nice clean install.

My Alpine has the iPod interface and it sits in the Tuffy console safe and sound.

read the directions in the owners manual about the audio files, they might have to be a certain format.

It plays everything I've thrown at it so far, going to put a few MP4's on there and see what it does It might puke, it might not. If it does play them it will save me having to rip them to mp3's which I have not had much luck with.
